Report

You are requested to report to the Medical College timely to complete the formalities like bond. The college is located in Old T.B. Hospital Campus, Gotri, Vadodara.

How To Reach Vadodara

Vadodara is well connected by Western railway and road to all the major cities of Gujarat and India. If you are coming by bus, get down at Vadodara Central Bus Station. The rickshaw fare from Bus Stand to GMERS Medical College is around INR 50-100.

One can reach Vadodara by air too. Vadodara International Airport has daily flights from/to New Delhi and Mumbai. The other closest airport is Ahmedabad, Domestic Terminal No. 1, and Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport, Terminal No. 2 (about 120 km). You can take OneWay cab, OLA and Uber to reach the campus.

Hostel admission

The campus has a Girl’s and a Boy’s hostel. If you are planning to stay in hostel, fill in hostel admission form (🔗), and hand it over to the hostel rector for quick processing. Mess facility is available in both the hostels and there is also a college canteen in the campus. No private electric equipment or furniture is allowed in hostel.

This one time hostel fees is refundable while leaving the college, for which the student would need to produce original receipt of payment.

Comprehensive Hostel Packing Checklist

To help you pack your hostel essentials, we have created this comprehensive hostel packing checklist for students.

1 mattress, 1 blanket, 2 pillow covers, 2 bed sheets
2 towels, 2 small napkins, 1 20 lt. bucket and a tumbler, tooth brush, tooth paste, tongue cleaner, bathing soap and soap case, shampoo and conditioner, oil and comb, 1 nail cutter and shaving kit for boys

Bank Account

Almost all major banks have their branches in Vadodara. However, State Bank of India, Natubhai Circle branch is located nearby. Due to stringent R.B.I. regulations, it is advisable to bring the identification letter/ certificate from your present bankers along with 2 recent passport size photographs which will facilitate in opening the bank account.
