Admission Procedure for UG

Each year 200 seats are available for admission to the graduate medical course in GMERS Medical College, Gotri, Vadodara, leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. The admission process is regulated by “Admission Committee for Professional Under Graduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC)”.

Seat distribution

85% of the total seats are filled through State Quota and 15% through Non-Resident Indian (NRI) Quota. NRI seats that remain vacant are filled through Management Quota.

Online registration

Gujarat Board / CBSE / ISCE / Cambridge University / National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) students who have qualified NEET-UG of current academic year and passed SSC and HSC Examination (Science B/AB Stream) from Gujarat State and Domicile of Gujarat / born in Gujarat state and eligible as per admission rules of Gujarat State should visit the website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx  for online registration.

Student who is himself/herself a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or a child or ward of a NRI and completed his/her 12th (Science B/AB Stream) from school situated within or outside India, have qualified in the NEET, conducted in the current academic year and qualified as per the criteria prescribed by the competent authority may visit the website for online registration.

Students other than above may visit ‘Procedure for online registration’ website http://medadmgujarat.org/ug/home.aspx for eligibility criteria for online registration.

Reservations as applicable are followed by ACPUGMEC.

Documents verification appointment at Help Centre

The candidate will be able to take appointment for Document Verification after clicking “Document Verification Appointment” under “REGISTRATION DETAILS” button at chosen Help Centre. The candidate has to submit self-attested copies of the following documents as applicable:
It is compulsory to visit Help Centre and submit your Registration slip along with self-attested photocopies of required documents and to get ‘Acknowledgment receipt of registration’ otherwise your candidature will not be considered for further admission process.

Payment

Fees as decided by the Admission Committee may be paid using the following link.
Copy of payment receipt should be submitted in the Students section of the College.

Scholarships

Students can avail Post Matric Scholarship Schemes as applicable. After registering online for applicable scholarship, the student should submit the required documents at MYSY / CCSS / Help Centre located on the first floor of the College building for verification.
