Departments & Faculties

GMERS Medical College and Hospital, Gotri, Vadodara has 22 departments run by accomplished faculties. The departments and faculties are engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and patient management.

The Preclinical subjects (Anatomy, Biochemistry and Physiology) are taught in Pre-Clinical Phase of MBBS program (Phase I / First Professional phase) of 13 months duration, with introduction to Community Medicine and early clinical exposure.

Paraclinical subjects (Microbiology, Pathology and Pharmacology) are taught in Para-clinical phase (Phase II / Second Professional) of 12 months duration, along with Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, and introduction to Clinical Subjects.

Clinical Phase (Phase III / Third Professional) is divided into Part I (13 months), Electives (2 months) and Part II (13 months duration). Clinical phase is dedicated to clinical subjects.
